could somebody please explain something to me:
why do the shandians have wings even before they actually came to Skypiea ?
or were they just for fashion even before the arrived and it’s just a wierd coincidence that the angels wear then too?

i think the people of Skypiea came up with same way the shandians did (but withouth island??) -probably many decades or centuries ago- from Jaya or another island which people’s very same descendant of Shandians. So the wings must be the fashion of their ascendants.

Well my guess would be the same concept as how blue sea items get thrown up in the air by the knock up stream some items from skypiea could have fallen down onto Jaya and the culture took to them and made it there own. Thats just my guess as to how both shandarians and skypiens both have wings. I’m a freaking nerd.

Well.. Remember when that ship fell on Luffy and his crew? When the savalged it, they found a waver. That could also prove the possibility of a few items from Sypiea falling into the blue sea or onto the specific island ‘Jaya’. So it wouldn’t really be a suprise if something like that happened, but thats my opinion.
